Rees Valley Station

Welcome to Rees Valley Station - Bridges terrace land hire. This station is privately owned by the Scott family, this is a 46,000 acre High Country sheep and beef station at the head of Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy. We are a working station that currently runs approx 5000 Merino sheep with an average micron of 17.5, we also run 200 head of hereford cattle.  During most of the year, you will find the stock grazing the western slopes of the Richardson Ranges and in the eastern side of the Rees river catchment.

This venue is a prime location for sweeping views of the Rees Valley basin, the braided Rees river and Mount Earnslaw.

The road to Bridges Terrace has many fantastic locations to stop on the way for amazing photos, either bgy the turquoise river edge or the red mountain beech forest before or after your ceremony.

Helicopters are another great way of accessing this venue otherwise it is a 25 minute drive up the Rees road from Glenorchy township - a 4WD is required to cross Muddy Creek, near the end of the road.

We don't offer any facilities, it is a land only hire, however I am happy to recommend some amazing vendors who have worked with us at Rees Valley in the past to help make your planning process seamless.

Please get in touch if you have any question about the farm/land hire and if you'd like to inquire about availability.
